TGC lawyer Ian Kennedy and articled student Ania Konikowski won 20 months’ notice for a 61 year old, long-serving employee in a recent decision of the British Columbia Supreme Court.

Madam Justice Burke rejected the employer’s arguments that the employee had resigned instead of being fired and that the employee failed to mitigate his damages.
