TGC lawyer Ian Kennedy successfully defended an employer’s application to strike or, alternatively, stay a lawsuit brought by an employee in the B.C. Supreme Court.
The employer attempted to argue that separate proceedings brought by the employee before the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal and the Workers Compensation Board overlapped with the issues raised in the employee’s lawsuit.
