Prior to studying Law, Iman took an honours degree in Psychology at Simon Fraser University.  He obtained his J.D. at the University of Ottawa.

While at the University of Ottawa, Iman was Vice President of the Environmental Law Students Association, a member of the Employment and Labour Law Students Association, and was involved in organising and hosting the 2015 TEDx UOttawa Conference. Iman benefited from the mentorship of the Honourable Justice Matthew Webber of the Ontario Court of Justice during his second year of law school.

Iman has contributed to the community through extensive pro bono work for Ottawa’s Housing Justice Project, the Access Pro Bono Society of BC, UBC’s Law Students’ Legal Advice Program (LSLAP), and the Conviction Review Project (previously known as the Innocence Project).

Iman completed his summer Articles at TGC and assisted our lawyers with a number of matters including employment and Human Rights matters.  Iman also had sole conduct of cases in Provincial Court and before Employment Standards.

TGC is happy to welcome back Iman for his Articles. Iman will be continuing to work with TGC lawyers over the coming year.

When not practising Law, Iman enjoys producing music, hiking, and yoga.

Iman has lived and studied on three continents and is fluent in Farsi.
