TGC is pleased to welcome Ratib to the team.
Prior to joining TGC Ratib worked at a boutique civil litigation firm where he helped clients from a variety of backgrounds with different types of civil claims.
Ratib has appeared in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and has experience with trials, discoveries, hearings, and all other aspects of the civil litigation process.
Ratib currently volunteers as a trial supervising lawyer for UBC Law Students Legal Advice Program. He also volunteers on the B.C. Conduct Panel tasked with regulating misconduct for a local e-Sport community.
Ratib obtained his law degree from the University of Victoria. In law school, Ratib volunteered at Access Pro Bono and assisted clients with criminal, employment, and contract matters in legal clinics in Edmonton, Vancouver, and Victoria.
Ratib completed his Bachelor’s of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of British Columbia. Ratib has conducted research in biomedical laboratories, has had his work published in a scientific journal, and has given educational presentations on medical research to the members of the public.
Ratib resides in North Vancouver with his wife. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, local eats, and checking out the latest Netflix series.
