TGC lawyer David McWhinnie has successfully defended an employer from a complaint that it took prohibited action against an employee.
In his decision the WorkSafeBC adjudicator found that: “If anything, it seems to me that the employer went out of its way to find work for the worker … in spite of the worker’s very limited availability in this time period, and in spite of the external economic challenges the employer was facing…”
An anonymized version of the decision will be provided on the WorkSafeBC website in due course.
